WynCoat®, They are modified polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). Scratch & Mar resistance agents are recommended in many formulations where improved resistance is required. In the paint, silicone-based agents strongly reduce the surface tension and increase the slip. Consequently, the scratching item will slip on the paint surface and will not or less deteriorates the film surface. Some specific modified structures can also form a thin protective layer at the paint surface. Silicone-based agent may have also a positive influence on the film aspect.

WynCoat® SE-4482 is an 60% active dispersion of a very high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane gum. It is an effective additive for both water-based as well as solvent-based coating systems providing excellent slip, mar resistance, gloss, anti-blocking and release effects. Tin-based catalysts are not used in the manufacture of SE-4482

Anwendungen und Verwendungen

SE - 4482 wird als Additiv in Wasser sowie Lösungsmittel - basierte Systeme für Farbe und Tinten und Beschichtungen verwendet, um Schlupf-, MAR -Resistenz, Verringerung des Reibungskoeffizienten, Glanz-, Anti -Blockier- und Freisetzungseigenschaften bereitzustellen.

SE - 4482 ist besonders effektiv in der Lösungsmittel -Basisbeschichtung, insbesondere bei Leder -Top -Schichten. Abhängig von der Anwendung liegt die Menge von SE - 4482 verwendet von 0,05 - 3,00% Gewicht prozentuell basierend auf der Gesamtformulierung. Vor dem Gebrauch kann das Produkt wie mit Wasser oder dem typischen Lösungsmittel, das in beliebigen Beschichtungen auf Lösungsmittelbasis verwendet wird, hinzugefügt werden.

When stored between 10 and 40°C in the original unopened container, SE-4482 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture.
